To tell the truth we were not very impressed by the suite at all. we were on the top floor which we didnt like and there was a damp smell in our room and stains on the floor. the quilt covers were ripped and didnt fit the beds properly. we were very disappointed as we have stayed in the main hotel and had an excellent experinence there.
It was great value for money. Very spacous apartments
Some of the fittings wher broken. Explained we were a hen and they stil put a family in the apartment below us and consantly kept comin up to tel us. Please be aware that this is no a family place. Ot os mainly filled with hena dn stags and groups of people. Not a place for kids and babies!!!!
There was plenty of space, very large appartment.
There were no signs directing you from road. Took 10 minutes to find it was in Crillion! No staff at all. Lamps with wrong plug so wouldn't work. Poor glasses and crockery. A sign asking to leave clean and tidy! In a hotel?? With no washing liquid supplied? Bedside lamps useless. Very very poor indeed. Will not recommend to anyone.
Room was tidy and neat on arrival and relatively spacious.
There was a smell of rubbish in the lobby entrance. This was comming from an area on ground floor where the rubbish was being stored - which was visble through doors with windows, and let down the overall 1st impressions of the place. It was advertised with leisure facilities - which are not part of the accomadation, but are in the local hotel which is missleading and costs an additional 12 euro / per day / per person. The apartment was very cold when we checked in and it took some time to warm up when the radiator was turned on.
A generous apartment size, equipment in the kitchen was adequate, rooms were spotlessly clean, beds were really comfortable. The apartment was quiet even though it was busy when we stayed. Staff were helpful. Great location for touring and exploring. Free wifi in the main hotel was welcome.
Only a minor quibble, the lobby area and the kitchenette could dowith an update, on first impression they look quite delapidated.
My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. Our reason was just for a relaxing few days which it was. The hotel is a family friendly place to go and I found this catered for young and old alike. Well worth coming back to for a break.
Only one thing was that more pillows need to be in each room as we only had one each in the family suite other than that no complaints.
safe envoirnment for children with all the leisure facilitys of the clarion hotel next door and very helpful staff to go with it
We thought the room was very spacious, clean and tidy. The lovely ladies at the Clarion Village reception where excellent and extremely helpful. The location for us was spot on. It was easy access to Rosses Point and Strandhill. Our son took advantage of the large garden area and the mini golf on the main ground of the hotel. We loved it so much we booked an extra night.
Great apartment, plenty of space for family of 4/5. Good location as a base for exploring Sligo and local area.
lovely clean suites - bonus having the two bedrooms - near proximity to sligo itself and nearby beaches
disapointed that you had to pay quite a lot for a family to use the clarion leisure facilities as we have used the suites before when you hadnt to pay and it enchanced our holidays especially on a rainy day.
The rooms were very convenient to the hotel where the wedding we were attending was held. When we arrived we were pleased with the size of the rooms and how bright and airy they were. We had views over the bay and sliding doors. First impressions were good and we dropped off our bags and rushed over to join the wedding party.
It was difficult to get hold of the receptionist- a number was left to ring but had problems with mobile. When we left the wedding to go to bed we found the sheets in one room(R 3116) to be badly stained and quite disgusting. The room, on closer inspection, was not very clean with rubbish clearly visible below the sofa. We had planned to have breakfast in our suite but found the frying pan to be dirty. My self and my husband, my sister and her husband were all greatly disappointed by this and in particular were upset by the state of the sheets.I Feel I cannot ask her to pay for this night and am sure you agree. These suites could be a marvelous place to stay if more attention was paid to the cleaning. However on this occasion the room was unacceptable. Our adjoining room (r3114) was fine.
It was ideal for us with a family. The apartment we had was spacious and very clean.
The fact that we had to pay because we were in the apartments to use the leisure facilities it should have been complimentary.
I was under the impression when booking it was an apartment. On check in we were only given a key to the bedroom and no where else
The price was just perfect for a group of friends goin away for the wkd, was lovely and private and very clean and comfrtable.
Had to wait for a member of staff to let us in and check us in. had to wait outside and was very cold.
Poor check in faciitiies, the rooms did not have wifi , the wooden finishing in the room were all marked , Poorly cleaned and presented. What could have been a fabulous suite was badly let down
